Just got a CE1000a extender to use with my CR1000a router. I finally got them connected, first by WiFi and then through my 1GB Ethernet (not hardly plug-and-play!), but I still have several problems:
1. The extender is not replicating the router WiFi and radio settings. On the router I have the Primary and IoT networks turned off and only the Guest network enabled (I have a mesh set up behind the router and only want the Verizon Guest network, to keep my IoT devices separated), and also disabled the 5GHz and 6GHz radios. However, on the extender the Primary network is enabled and the other two are disabled (opposite of the router) and all 3 radios are enabled.
2. I can't change any of these settings on the extender UI.
All I want is for the extender to increase the range of my Guest network! Any suggestions?

To resync the settings, always reboot the VZ router and not the VZ extenders.
VZ router will re-broadcast the SSDP messages right after the reboot. Wireless backhaul is not reliable, always use a wired backhaul.
