CR1000 problem with ethernet - to wifi translation

I've just switched from Xfinity to Verizon Fios and my new router is the CR1000. My home network is a mixture of ethernet and wifi.

With the new CR1000 router:

My main Windows PC is connected via ethernet to the CR1000 and I have normal access to the internet and most other devices in the home via wifi.
My printer is wifi enabled and is connected to the router's guest network.
However my PC will no longer print to the wifi printer (it did with my previous router and still does with a USB connection).

The router can successfully ping the wifi printer.
My PC cannot successfully ping the wifi printer.

Is there a setting in the CR1000 which should be enabled (or disabled) to let my PC 'see' the printer?

The Guest network is on a different VLAN than the main network (main Wireless networks and Ethernet, and Coax), so it is isolated between the two.

If you trust the printer enough, I would suggest you to turn on the IoT wireless network and connect the printer to that.
