CR1000A Router drops connection

Periodically my CR1000A router drops the connection. No idea why. If I unplug it wait 20 seconds and plug it back in it works. Any idea why?

Well, you may not want the data cables to be tight, but rather their connectors to be tight at most.

I believe there are several cables coming from the CR1000A. Could you be more specific as to which cable did you unplug?

Power cord was unplug to restart the router.
I made sure that the Ethernet and coax cables were tight.
