I had services but discontinued them because of packet loss issues. WiFi preformed wonderfully and was a highlight. anyway, I then decided to cancel my service and try something else.
Well the something else had good download speeds, but the upload speeds were lacking. Verizon called me back and tried to get me back up with them so I decided to give them a try again. I got the same router I was using before CR1000A and now the WiFi performance is horrible.
Downloading apps on my iphone is a chore now and takes forever.... I have one app I use to test speeds, its 1GB. Before it downloaded in 20 seconds, now it takes 1minute 20 seconds. I plugged back in my router real quick with the other service, and its quick there too, 20 seconds.
I tried plugging my FIOS ethernet into my other router and the speed is still slow. When I do speed tests it says 200~ mbps on everything I've tried.
I've already tried adjusting the channels, going to 160mhz, factory restoring the router, etc but its just STILL SO SLOW. does anyone have any ideas or tips on settings I need to change to get it to preform better? even my 5G I get in my house preforms better then my fios router haha
You are saying, even when plugged in with an Ethernet, it is still slow?
I am wondering whether the service is not correctly provisioned in the autonomous system.
