I used to be able to get online wireless with my laptop and other devices, but now I can't. I try to setup a wireless connection and my devices still can't find my modem.
It says "Not In Range" even when I'm standing in front of the router.

I was told by a friend that I need to upgrade to 20/5 speed now.........is this true? (it wasn't the case before)

Did you log into the router and check the settings for your wireless network?

Yes and when I click save a box comes up saying "Saving changes" but then the page comes back and No is still selected

Actually there is an Apply button way down at the bottom of the page. Smiley Very Happy

A friend of mine just told me that I now need to upgrade to 20/5 speed and that's why this is happening.

Does anyone know if this is true?

No, it is not true.  WiFi in your home has nothing to do with your speed.

Access to Verizon's WiFi hot spots is related to your speed - they only let people with faster tiers access hot spots.  So, unless you're trying to use the WiFi from a nearby coffee shop that happens to be a Verizon Hot Spot; your friend is feeding you wrong information.

Have you tried Verizon tech support or the "in home agent" yet?  You should have no issue with WiFi.

Everytime I tried to download it yesterday I got errors and it wouldn't download. I'll try again right now, Thanks

Tried the In Home Agent and that didn't help. I think my router is messed up!
