I have an odd problem. I have an Ubuntu 12.04 server running Drupal and am testing it from home. I've enabled port forwarding on the Actiontec MI424WR router, and added my IP to the DNS. I can acces the server from another computer in my house, and my coworker had no problems from an external network. So there are no issues with name resolution.
What is odd is that I cannot get to the website from the actual server using Firefox. I get a 'connection has timed out' error.
I can ping by name, dig returns the correct IP by name, and now I'm stuck. Any ideas would he appreciated.
How does your port forwarding rule look, currently? Does the site canyouseeme.org report the port your Web server operates on is reachable?
