Cannot get my work vpn/ Citrix connection through my home Fios. It works through a phone hot spot... No idea how to change any firewall on the router... ?  There is a previous topic like this but no answer for me.

Once the VPN is connected, the router firewall should have no bearing on whether Citrix works through the VPN or not. The router would have to block the VPN itself.

If Citrix is your "VPN" then a possible feature you'll want to look at disabling is the Verizon Home Network Protection feature:

https://www.verizon.com/support/residential/internet/essentials/home-network-protection

The router firewall itself defaults to a setting which allows all traffic that is initiated by a device on your network, but blocks inbound connections which devices on your network are not expecting. A more restrictive setting would've been set by you or someone else with access to the router.  That can be changed at https://myfiosgateway.com/ with the default login credentials being found on the side or back of your router.
