Some information about my setup before I explain:
Speed Tier: 1GIG
Router: CR1000A
ONT: G-211M-C
Over the past few weeks my internet has randomly been slowing down to speeds around 20mbps and there is no way to resolve the issue besides letting time pass. Restarting the router does nothing. Connected via the 10G lan is a gigabit switch which connects to APs and computers around the house. Doing multiple speed tests during these drop periods proves the issue further. My computer is wired directly to a switch and then to the router all using Cat 6a cable. Wirelessly I have tried both using the actual router wifi standing next to it and my Unifi APs and the speed results are the same. My cable works fine aswell and the switch shows all connections as being at full link speed. In addition ping is THROUGH THE ROOF!
I have used the Verizon.com troubleshooter and gotten varied results, some saying the issue is fixed but showing a 5mbps upload speed… I will attach pictures of all this below. Any idea what the issue might be please help!
