Have high speed internet enhanced. Last 2 speed tests in area of 1.29 Mbps download.
We have to physically reset modem [Westell 7500] at least once every hour when in use. Get up in morning - reset.
Come home from work - reset.
Had trouble with dedicated landline for DSL before Thanksgiving. NO service. V sent tech who threaded temporary line - 2 weeks later new line trenched in. Still intermittent service. Thinking of dropping whole bundle.
Any thoughts on AT&T wireless home phone or internet?
-Changed router to new westell 7500.
-NEW line from Verizon's box on outside of house directly to wall jack for modem. NO splits.
-All DSL filters correctly installed.
-Problem exists [low speed] on direct wired desktop computer as well as laptop [ wifi off router/modem].
Paying a lot of money for frustration. GOD, I MISS MA BELL!!!!

I don't know why you are saying the 7500 is "new" because I don't think Verizon has given those out in years. Did Verizon give you the new modem?
