DSL Service In Bloomfield, NJ

Past several weeks my dsl connection has been going on and off every few minutes (even when it isn't storming out). It is very frustrating because i have broadband phone through Vonage and my calls get dropped cuz my net goes out. And when it goes out it takes at least 10-20 min for the net to come back.  I have a Westell 6100 DSL modem and a Vtech Ip8100 router for my vonage phone service.  any help wpould be appreciated before i am forced to change net providers

#2 What Westell firmware do you have (the White and Blue OR the Red and Black) ?

white and blue...as the westell router is an all black box

#1 In the modem combo go to Troubleshooting -> Transceiver Status.

#2 Post the info that is there.
