Ok, the tech had them slow it back down to 3mb, been solid since. I called to have them leave the speed as is but it is not an available speed, although it is listed on the Verizon site...... but I have it so someone has no clue what they are doing. Anyway, the speed decrease seem to work. Hope it stays that way.
ADSL Link | Downstream | Upstream |
Connection Speed | 3360 kbps | 800 kbps |
Line Attenuation | 50.0 db | 28.0 db |
Noise Margin | 16.0 db | 10.0 db |

This would be a time where I would have to agree with a speed decrease. If your line was running at higher speeds I can see where the problem would lay. It's just too far out/too degraded for anything more. You could probably get by with 4Mbps, but whichever rocks your boat I guess.

Will not disagree with that. From what the tech told me I am runnnig in test mode and it could change. I called to keep this speed but the rep on the phone told me it was not available. We shall see. This whole deal will be fodder for my employer and the marketing team.
