Day 4 w/o internet/ service

We have service interruption since Wednesday ( today is Saturday). Called Verizon on Wednesday, they said they will send technician to fix it. Technician arrived on Thursday and left after 10 minutes saying that it is outside problem ( apparently animals chew on cable) and we need the other crew to fix it… He also said the crew will come Thursday night or Friday morning. It is Saturday and no one yet arrived to fix the problem.
My mother has depression and dementia and watching movies/ videos on YouTube (which requires internet connection) was distracting her from the bad thoughts. Now she is not feeling well and we had to increase her daily antidepressants .
My husband works from home and I am doctoral student, thus having WiFi is vital for our family. We are thinking on contacting other provider if this doesn’t get fixed by Monday. Too sad Verizon. We’ve been a loyal customers for more than 10 years.
