Anymore I want to use my own secure DNS resource and not anything to do with Verizon FiOS at all and I need a static IP full-time because I want to use my own VPN resource full-time without any configuration refresh. I do not want any DNS redirection for the benefits of anything marketing or otherwise and I expect to have complete control of my Internet resources, which start with DNS resolution, because I do not trust the security levels that Verizon provides with DNS.

How do you resolve your domain name if you don't place trust in any of the nameserver? It is not being tracked by one, but again being tracked by another.
