Help! I cannot find any solution on how to disable remote administration on the newer model Verizon router. I am able to access the router page via my public IP address, and I need this to be disabled for security. I feel like I have tried everything. Please help me! The router is a CR1000A

Local LAN administration cannot be disabled. The WAN administration is disabled by default.

So apparently you can access it via your public IP address as long as you are on the same network as the router. I tested it via cell data and it failed to connect.
