Hello all,
So long story short I received the new CR1000A router and I ordered the FiOS extender (E3200) since it comes with 1 GB plan. After speaking to a CSR, I was told my options are: to either get a longer ethernet wire or have a technician come out to put a ethernet connection in another room.
The getting a longer ethernet wire would not work for me unless I'm getting a 75 foot wire connecting directly from the router to extender in my bedroom. So it seems like my only option is to have a tech come out, but that's going to cost 150 dollars total.
Does anyone have any experience with a tech coming out to install the ethernet connection in a different room? or should I just keep my mesh system that I currently have set up ( I get out 500 to 600 mbps through the 2nd mesh system in my bedroom through hardwire ). Compared to just the CR100A router and using Wi-Fi I get around maybe high 180s in my bedroom. ( Yeah I realize hardwiring is always going to be better)

Yes, hardwiring is always better.
Wireless backhauling would create excessive latency.
Tech does not fish wire through walls. You will be charged $149 per tech visit and likely the system will enroll you into the +$20/month inside wire maintenance.
