I have Verizon Fios internet in my small NYC apartment, and recently upgraded to an Eero 6+ router. The WiFi and my smart devices work well but my wife experiences the occasional glitch on zoom when we are both working from home. So I boosted our plan from 300 to 1 gig to see if that helps. In the deal, Verizon gave me the VR1000a. I thought that replaced the piece of equipment that attaches to their incoming wire, not realizing its meant to replace the Eero. I figure I should just return it, but want to make sure first that it isn't some amazing thing that's much better than the Eero. Any opinions would be appreciated. Thank you.
