I have been having this issue off and on for several days now.
I use Outlook Express.
Yes, I do NOT have "leave the e-mail on the server" selected.
Yet, I continue to get the same messages downloaded over and over.
Anyone else having this problem lately? (also, getting a lot of POP timeouts too)

Doesn't matter if you have "leave the message on the server" selected as it will only download a message once to any particular datastore (machine) - the purpose of the selection is in case you access the pop3 server from multiple locations.
If you are getting the message downloaded multiple times it means that your pop3 connection is failing before notifying the server that the messaages were received - probably something to do with (also, getting a lot of POP timeouts too).
Start a new topic or ask questions in the open forum.
