I have been waiting a long time for FIOS to be available for my buiding. Not sure why it hasn't hap[pened even though the verizon buiding in right on my block in manhattan
Do they have Fios ?
Ask to speak to the "top" dog in that building if they have it.
You probably will get no further than his/her Secretary but I bet she will get an answer for you.

The whole buiding does not have FIOS
The landlord has to sign two agreements with VZ to allow FIOS into the building.
Until those agreements are signed, you won;t get FIOS.
Check with your landlord to see if those agreements have been signed.
I gave you the number and email for the building owners or board to get fios wired into the building.
