Fios Internet goes out 6-8 times a year. Every time Fios app troubleshooting claims there is outage and insists on checking the Fios router and refuses to do anything further if you don't connect their router. The problem is ALWAYS outside my house. It has NEVER been the router. They ALWAYS find out a few hours or day later and send a message that they are working on a fix. I refuse to switch out the router for their pathetic attempt to first blame the customer.
