Fios line unburied

At the beginning of May, our Fios service was interrupted suddenly. When the technician arrived, he discovered that the line was broken near the road, probably due to a heavy truck going just off the road and tearing the line due to its weight.
A new line was quickly run and service restored, and the technician told us a crew would visit in about 2 weeks to bury the new line, which runs across our property and through a neighbor's property before reaching the street.
That visit never happened, so early last week I called customer service and asked about it, and a ticket was created and I was promised that someone would reach out to me in 48 hours to discuss burying the line. That call back never happened.
Currently the grass where the line runs is overgrown, stopping us from mowing part of our lawn. I'm still concerned that due to the long length of line, with it passing through a neighbor's property, that it may break due to an animal or something else.
Twice I've been promised something by Verizon employees that never happened... first that a crew would come to bury our line, and then that I would receive a call about burying the line. I'm reaching out one more time for suggestions, or for a Verizon representative here to intercede, on how to progress before I elevate this issue further.
