I recently signed up for Verizon. First, they gave me the run around because they said I had a past due balance. I never had Verizon so I had to file a claim of fraud. They wouldn’t provide me with the information needed for the police report so I had to find another option. After the claim was filed and I was able to provide the account was not mine, they still gave me problems to complete my order. By now, I’ve been wondering if this has been worth it but been pressing along. Finally, I get an email that I need to provide proof of residency. I provided a phone bill and that was not sufficient enough. I provided a lease… I’m just concerned because the service was to be installed in are days and I work from home and need it. It’s currently the weekend and the department I need to correspond with is closed.
