I had a Fios technician at my home to install new cable for faster services. I had already purchased a new router. He told me my new router would not work with Verizon cable. He said I had to buy the $300 router. Is this right? I did not sign for the router, but he left it and charged me.
I tried unplugging the router and my cable works fine. I think this technician lied to me for the sale.
