We upgraded from 100 Mb/s to 300 Mb/s and began having erratic results with internet. Our PCs are connected via ethernet. The PCs were older, and we finally figured out that the PC ethernet ports could not handle the faster traffic. We verified latest drivers were installed. Bought external USB ethernet adapters for our PCs. Problem solved. Got Plugable brand adapters, Model USB3-E1000 for $18 each from Newegg.com . It took months for us to identify this as the cause of our erratic internet after speed upgrade. Hope this helps others.
