G1100 randomly reboots

Hi all, I have fios internet, cable and a landline. Internet is advertised 100/100 (which I am seeing less and less of). Since March an issue has been happening where the router will randomly reboot itself. If it doesn’t reboot, connection will be around 5/5 which makes doing anything impossible. I have looked through past posts which seem to highlight a similar topic but no solutions. Router is connected to ONT via coax. Received a replacement router in April and worked well for a week, but still same issues. Cannot get through to support and someone was supposed to come look at everything a few weeks ago but never showed. Very fed up at this point. If anyone has any input please let me know!

if you're on a triple play at 100/100, might be time to look into a newer package and also have the ONT upgraded so your connection from that to the router is ethernet, not Coax.

That aside, you might want to ask VZ for a replacement while you're waiting for the ONT changeover and upgrade for your package.

You can use your own router, but that's another thread.
