G1100 router: unable to delete firewall rule

We got upgraded to a G1100 (fw 1.03.02.03) router and I was trying to setup a port forwarding rule. I messed it up and want to delete the rule I created; I tried to select the "delete" checkbox on the right side and then "Apply" at the bottom, but it doesn't delete.

I've tried two different computers and three different routers. Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong here?

Easiest thing is to simply hit the reset button on the router and then start over from scratch.

you will still need to use the original router name and password from off the router.

The link above should assist you.

I appreciate the reply.

Are you saying that this router doesn't actually allow deletion of firewall forwarding rules?

I don't use forwarding. That is why I gave you a link to the routers user manual.

in many cases it is always best to reset the router back to when first used. In a reset the settings you placed in are removed. This is just a fix that can help you.

I'm having the same problem on a G1100 with Fios. Did you ever find an answer for this? Reset and start from scratch is not an option. 🙂 Thanks
