I aquired a G3100 router. How do I check to see if router is owned or was rented? I want to use it but want to make sure I can. Will I get a notification that I cannot use it? How do I go about finding out?
Thanks

Welcome to the forums! You're talking mostly to other users here.
Verizon should be able to look up the serial number and tell you if it was purchased or if it's a non-returned rental. If it is a non-returned rental and you plug it into a Fios ONT without checking, they might start charging you a rental fee. So, check with them before plugging it in.

Thank you so much I will certainly do that first. Hopefully it was purchased and I can use it.
