@RogerB wrote:How do I disable McAfee Home Network Protection on Verizon Fios?
This is a question others have struggled with. The best way is to reset the router.
others have said when you access the myfios app you click on home protection and there is three dots up in the corner, they say clicking on that gives you the option of turning it off.
i know itโs too late now but never use any product made by McAfee or Symantec Norton because they do more harm than good. Another avenue is to purchase a router that cannot be messed with by Verizon. But the reset should do the trick.

On your Android device, close the My Fios app, then go to settings>Apps> My fios>Storage> Clear Cache then Clear Data. When done log back into the My Fios app and go back to Account & Settings> Security Settings> Home Network Protection. It is normal to see the spinner for a few seconds. Click the toggle & then ok the message. Now HNP should be turned off.

I turned mine off after having devices dropped from my router. I dont want to go though resetting my router to remove it. I want it to work and have McAfee have an easier way to remove it. I will have ot make a phone call.
