What is the path / URL to the homepage you are using? Verizon can use several different homepages based on what service you have.

Part of the home page is missing. Specifically, the Black line at the top that says: E mail and more, TV and movies, and Accounts and services. Strangely, if I refresh the page this line comes up. There is an error in the soft ware for computers using Xp . On my Vista computer, I get this line sometimes, but, wnen I sign in I get a page with jusy writing vertically first and then the home page. Something is amiss in the software.
Hopefully, a Verizon employee will see my post and report the problem!!!

I'm having the same problem. I'm using Vista and IE8. I have no idea what the one person who replied meant about different urls for the Verizon Home Page. As far as I know there is only one and that is: http://entertainment.verizon.com/

I am also getting a message on the information bar that Internet Explorer has change the script on the page tp protect my computer from Cross site scripting which means the my Verizon homepage is vulnerable to attacks from hackers.

I am also sometimes getting the cross site scripting message when I go to the Verizon Home Page. I didn't get that message until recently--ever since changes have been made on the Verizon Home Page.

I'm failing to re-produce the problems you guys are having here. I've tried the page on three different browsers, and minus some element and text rendering differences, I can't seem to see the problems you guys are having. I've tried against Firefox 22, Internet Explorer 8 and Internet Explorer 9 (Vista).
Firefox:
IE8:
IE9:
Since I do not use Internet Explorer as my browser (it's normally disabled), my Internet settings are at their defaults. IE does block some third party cookies but I do not get any script warnings. Try resetting your browser, and make sure things such as the date and time on your computer are correct.
As a question: Does the page require you to be logged in for this problem to occur?
Lastly, if you have Windows VIsta or newer on your computer and are still running IE8, upgrade your browser. IE9 for Vista or IE10 for Windows 7 are where you should be at. The improvements in the newer versions of IE are just wonderful, and places such as Google are going to be cutting support for IE8 in the very near future.

The problem we are having happens when you sign in to the home page. It does not occur on the page you display which is th sign in page that you get when you click on your browser.

We upgraded one of our computers to IE9 and that solved the problem Our computer running IE8 and XP still has the problem. I suppose that it will not be repaired because IE8 is soon to be gone.
We must be signed in for two weeks to get the problem. The scrpting error must also be ab IE8 problem .
