I have "parental controls" activated in "home Network Protection" for both of my kids' PCs and they have been complaining of certain apps like Youtube working intermittently. They can be watching a video fine for a few minutes, then it seems to stop buffering. This same type of thing happens with other streaming apps and games. If I turn off "Manage device" under each device, it works fine, so it's something with how Fios is filtering the traffic. Is there any tweak or setting anyone knows of that will fix this so I don't have to turn the controls off? I still want to filter their access to the Internet. Thanks!

Another way to do it is to use OpenDNS or even your own DNS Server.
For OpenDNS REF https://www.opendns.com/home-internet-security/ and then OpenDNS Family Shield or OpenDNS Home or OpenDNS VIP or OpenDNS Prosumer - based upon your needs.
