I have a few people coming over tonight to do a fantasy draft online. By my count it will be about 7 laptops and 5 phones wirelessly connected to my network. Do you think I'll have a lag? If so should i hardwire some laptops to take the burden off my wireless?
thoughts?

If you're just doing web browsing, etc. you should be ok. If you're going for online gaming however, I'd wire as may as possible.

Wire what you can to the router, as it will be more likely to handle the load going through physical media than it would trying to fight against whatever you have connected and the additional units you will be connecting. My real concern is not with the ability of the router to take that many connections at one, but just overall Wireless performance and reliability. A lot of residential routers buckle when you put more than a normal amount of wireless devices on them.
