When I use the "Talk to Us" function in the Contact Verizon options on the website, where you ask Verizon to call you, you have the option of choosing a topic and subtopic (none of which apply to my issue). No matter what topics I choose, after Verizon calls me and verifies my PIN, it tells me a storm is coming, and then unceremoniously hangs up on me.
I have two (what the power told me) are service lines that go to my house from the street that need servicing. I don't understand how to reach Verizon about this. I'm technical so I don't usually need help so I rarely call Verizon, but this is pretty obscene. Something is obviously broken.
I am now in some kind of online chat queue that says I have to wait 21 minutes and I must keep the chat active (but it doesn't say how) or they will also, I'm guessing, ignore me.
How am I supposed to reach Verizon about some potentially down service lines? I think they are coax and not fiber, but I'm not sure. I don't use anything that requires coax drops and probably won't but I don't want to find out what kind of service line it was the hard way.
