I decided to subscribe to Verizon about 6 months ago and have been regretting the decision ever since! The billing has been an absolute nightmare. My monthly bill has been a different amount every single month and has resulted in multiple frustrating hours spent on the phone with customer service. The crux of the matter is that I was promised something as a promotion that Verizon has no intention of providing and I was finally told yesterday that I must have been 'misinformed' in the beginning and that there is nothing that can be done at this time..I just needed to pay the extra money for the length of my contract. I asked if I could cancel my contract since the original terms that I signed for are not going to be provided and was told that that I would have to pay the early termination fee. I feel like this is outright Fraud and False Advertising and it is very frustrating to not be able to do anything about it. One can never get any kind of identifying information from the customer service representatives, who are often extremely rude...apparently, they are also very frustrated with having to talk to disgruntled customers on a regular basis because of Verizon's practice of false advertising.
It is also almost impossible to actually find the correct link to file a complaint. However, I plan to continue trying and also to take this up with the Better Business Bureau. I encourage others to do the same...
