I've only had verizon for 5 days and nothing but problems!

My internet service is extremely slow, if it even works at all! Running at 0.98Mbps and cuts out every 5 minutes or so. I have been trying to watch a movie on my Roku and it's taken me about 2 hours to get through 20 minutes since it has to stop to buffer every 60 seconds! I have had a tech out here twice. I have called customer service and also live chatted - was told i "lived too far away from the office," there was "nothing they could do" and "sorry you don't like my answer."  This is NOT an okay solution to my problem. If they knew I lived too far away at the time of installation, I should have been told that! I actually MISS Comcast! I am beyond frustrated, annoyed, furioius - you name it. Will more than likely be cancelling my service!

What modem were you guven by Verizon? Also, what speed package did you order?
