Hi Verizon Community, our property is gutted due to water damage and while it is empty and has no flooring we'd like to run the Verizon Fios line to a new room. It will be more centralized in the home and will allow our office to connect directly via ethernet. Can you tell me what I need to be able to run this myself or with an electrician that I hire? We don't need internet activated yet since we have many more months of construction.

Verizon will do this if you order service and ask for a technician to come out to relocate the ONT. Otherwise, what you need is Simplex Single Mode Fiber, SC Connectors with APC terminations. Any couplers put in the line should also be SC, APC.
