ID.ME won't verify through Verizon login (for Student Discount)

I have spent more than a few days contacting two customer agents, and none of them can figure out why I continue to get a message that says, "We are unable to recognize your discount eligibility and you will not be eligible for the Fios Home Internet Discount offer. You can continue to make changes to your order below."
Even one of them said that I could still receive my student discount, but this month's bill did not include it, which is totally puzzling.
Could someone help me get the discounted Student plan even though when I log in to my ID.ME account has already verified my student status with no problem at all.
I am considering switching from Verizon to Xfinity, which is offering a similar discount. They are much helpful to provide this kind of service.
