Installation Delayed then Technician No Show!
I recently moved into a new home out in the country. Verizon wireless is getting no service where I am so naturally I sign up for Verizon HSI and a landline. I have been completely cut off other than my neighbor letting me use his internet every so often (thats how I'm posting now). My service was originally delayed, I got an email saying to reschedule so I did. Today was the day they were supposed to install the service. I've been waiting at home all day. I even cleaned out the Network interface box that the technician was going to use since it was full of bugs. The time frame was 8am to 5pm. Its currently 7:30 and I really don't want to wait another week for connection to the outside world! It was hard enough waiting for another port to open to get internet in the first place! I live chatted with an agent and they told me to call 800-837-4966. I told them I can't I don't have a working phone! Is there any way to get into contact with the local technicians?

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.

Please go to your profile page here on the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.

To ensure you know when they have responded to you, at the top of your support case there is a drop down menu for support case options. Open that and choose "subscribe".

Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.
