As a 20-year Xfinity customer, I recently transitioned to Fios due to a move to a new construction home. Internet access is crucial for my remote work, and assurances from the construction manager, Fios, and even the final walk-through indicated that the internet infrastructure was in place. However, after ordering Fios internet on September 6 with a delivery date of October 9, I discovered today that the cables haven't been set up, requiring an additional 30-day wait or more. This situation is causing significant frustration and putting my job at risk, as alternatives like working from Starbucks are not feasible due to handling sensitive data. Accurate information from both parties would have allowed for better planning, and I'm now considering the need to rent an Air B and B for a month to ensure I can work. I urgently request assistance to resolve this matter promptly.
