I am having the same problem with the same non existant result.  My internet service has been down for a week.  I talked with very polite people in India who traced the problem to the verizon facilities.  (Actually I can still do all things Google over the internet which is weird).  I received a text message saying it would be fixed by 8:56 on 05Sep13.   That time passed with no result.  Now they are saying it will be fixed on 10Sep13.   How long will this go on?   I have received no phone call from Verizon to discuss the problem and what they are doing.   It is impossible to break through thier electronic  "Berlin Wall" and talk to someone in the United States.  I have been loyal customer for at least 10 years.    I am actively looking at other providers at this point.   I am only able to post this due to having a work computer.

Hi Tickedoffalso,

Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you. Please go to your profile page for the forum and look at the top of the middle column where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.

Under "My Support Cases" you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis, as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions. Please keep all correspondence regarding your issue in the private support portal.

Get back in your box fir22get! You want customer service to actually do their job?!? Verizon's MO, blame the customer and charge them more for it
