Is it just me, or is everybody being "probed" by someone in China?

My router security log shows "blocked remote administration" from an ip that is apparently in China. Is that something to be worried about?
Needless to say, I do have remote administration disabled in the router's settings, I think that's the default, actually.

nope, nothing to worry about. Scans and remote attempts to access routers is common. China and the old Soviet countries are the most common sources of these scans. Just make sure that the password for your router is a custom password. Not left at the default setting.

I had to ban two brute force attacks on my personal ftp server.
Both Chinese sources.
Happened Saturday.
