Issue connecting Fios Internet to Samsung Smart Tv

Hi,

I recently switched to Verizion Fios from a different provider and have been having multiple issues with my internet connectivity since then.
The most annoying of these issues has been the fact that our Samsung Smart TV doesn’t seem to like the new provider and connection because it gives me an error along the lines of: ‘You’re connected to the network but there’s no internet access’. Once I run into this issue, it’s almost  impossible to reconnect, usually involves having to reboot multiple times and sometimes even that doesn’t work. I have tried a whole bunch of troubleshooting like:

Separating the 2G and 5G bands, switching channels, manually assigning an IP to the TV etc. I’ve reset the Tv to factory settings, updated the firmware etc and nothing has helped. I’ve even switched out the router from the Verizion provided one to an ASUS after which the TV initially connected and then started giving the same  issue after  a couple of days and has not reconnected since then.

We didn’t experience this with our previous provider and I’m almost ready switch providers at this point. Any thoughts on what could be happening?   Are there known issues with certain versions of Samsung TVs and Fios ?
