I've been using Fios internet for about 10 years now. I've never had any serious issues with it until this week. I used to be able to use options on mynetworksettings.com(back of router) to try and trouble shoot, but the site is no longer loading properly/being recognized. I'm having severe latency issues when running online games this week. It's to the point where the games are unplayable because my network isn't able to keep up with the amount of information attempting to be exchanged. Unfortunately, due to where the previous owner of this apartment had the service box put, I don't have a choice in having to use Wi-Fi instead of a hardwired connection. I did buy a wi-fi adapter to extend the reception range, and it drastically increased my speeds, which according to the speed test and downloads I've been doing the past few days, are still just fine. Even so, my time at this apartment hasn't had issues like this until recently. I tried going through the automated assistant's troubleshooting and it did nothing for me. I tried shutting off the IoT and the DFS setting, and neither had any effect. It's very difficult in my work schedule to be at home & available for a call as well as having to get through the automated system. Looking for help on this as multiplayer gaming is a big pastime for my friends and I.

As you may have pointed out, using a wired connection is better than a wireless connection.
In the wireless world, nearby signals or simply too many neighbors using WiFi could interfere with your WiFi signal and suffer the performance. I would be happy to explore options for you to run a wired connection.

Indeed, I'm considered buying an incredibly long ethernet cable, but as you can imagine, that's not the most desired solution. What do you have in mind? Are you a Verizon representative, or just a friendly face?
