I'm upgrading to 200/200 Mbps service and wanted to keep my existing MI424WR Rev I router without having to purchase a G1100. Will I get full speed out of this?

It depends.
For wired connections, you are good.
For wireless, this router only has the 2.4 GHz band.
You will get better speed by upgrading router or adding a WiFi ap.

According to a Verizon tech the MI424WR does not support 200/200. I am only getting 142/125 on a wired Ethernet connection. The tech said I needed to upgrade the router.
