I’m just about to give up and go back to Xfinity. I had Fios installed a few weeks ago. Ever since then the network just stops working randomly. I’ve tried all the resets, router, ONT, factory reset etc. I spoke to a phone tech (which took FOREVER) just to get, did the whole video call doing all the steps I already did again. No change.
I called a second time and the rep went through the same exact routine even though I said I’ve done all this and need a tech. She “promised” that she’d call me back after a few days to check it there were still issues (why wouldn’t there be, she did nothing different than the first rep) and if it still occurred, she’d send a tech out.
Surprise surprise, no phone call and when I called back myself, they wanted to go through all the same, video call, reset everything, steps for a third time. This is insanity. I had Xfinity for 9 years and never had a single issue.
