New G3100 no ethernet no wifi

Got a new G3100. Can't connect through ethernet and port lights don't blink. No wifi signal is put out. I have a solid white light (only takes about 5 seconds to go from dim to bright white light).
Pressing the reset button does nothing. Tried power cycling and still the same.
I connected all the cables back to the old g1100 and no issue so it's not the line.

Sounds like the router must be broken.

or try contacting them using this other site.

they have a good track record of assisting. Better than the twitter and telephone and chat with verizon. Real verizon employees that know what they are doing.
