Hi all, I recently got a new G3100 router and an extender. Everything is working fine, but the white status light on the front of the router is not on. (The light on the extender is lit.) The LAN and WAN and Wi-Fi 6 lights on the back of the router are lit. It's not a big deal because we have fast, stable internet, but should I do anything?

According to the G3100 User Guide, pages 86 and 96, log into the router's admin interface and go to the Advance menu --> Utilities --> LED Brightness. There are only a few choices: 0, 50, and 100%.

The front light is dimmed. It is not unlit. If something were to go wrong, such as overheating/hardware failure or loss of Internet, the front circle will turn red or yellow, respectively.

Not the white/normal light. The white/normal light will always be dimmed when nothing is wrong.
Do you like some blinking lights in a dark room? I liked it when I was 14-15 years old, but now I hate it because I want to sleep in a completely dark room.
