On Hold for 5 hours Emergency Broadband Benefit

Waiting to have the EBB applied to my existing account. The webpage to schedule a call with Verizon has been down since yesterday. I've now been on hold for 5 hours. Chat is unable to help and I've repeatedly been told waiting on this call for over 5 hours is my only option.

Did you ever get through?  Yesterday I was on hold for 5 hours TWICE each time i was disconnected. I am currently on hold today since they opened at 8 !

How about try Verizon's social media support team via Twitter and Facebook? I am hearing from phone support that the average wait time during a normal day is around 30 min to 2 hours.
