Putting my service on hold
qwerty444
Newbie

I was told two things:

1. I could put my service on hold and reinstate it at my new address.

2. There wasn't a fee for for putting my service on hold.

I was charged $50 to put my service on hold, and then I had to cancel it during the move process. I'm now out  nearly $100 to cancel my service, because they also charge you an early termination fee and threaten to credit report if you don't give in to their predatory whims.

I fully planned on resuming Fios in January when I moved into the area again next month, but now never again. Good job on that short-term gain, I guess?
