My speed tests say my Quantum modem direct connection from PC is 100 up and 100 down but whenever I try and access an https:// secure site (like Verizon) it takes FOREVER!
Which speed test site are you using?
Do any of the sites support http just to see if they are slow with that as well?
Does this apply to all https websites?
Verizon's website itself is known to be somewhat slow.
Do you have the same issue with the following HTTPS speedtest site? https://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/
