Dear Verizon Tech Support:
I received a very bizarre e-mail from Verizon (possibility from Verizon)?
I am questioning the validity of e-mail below, if it was actually sent by Verizon?
The Sign-In link sends the user to an unusual Verizon website.
Please authenticate the validity of the e-mail below and ensure it is truthful and accurate and if the e-mail was actually sent by Verizon?

Dear My Verizon Customer: In our continued effort to provide reliable and fast services we have recently made upgrades to our databases and servers. We are in the process of moving all user accounts to the new servers and as such you are required to login using the button bellow in order to transfer your account. Old accounts on the previous server will be suspended and deleted if they are not active.

Verizon tech support doesn't actively participate in this forum. This is a place for customer to help other customers.
For what it's worth, I've not received such an email.

I have received the same email message but am afraid to "Sign In" and have attempted to find an answer on the legitimate Verizon web site without success.

That message is a phishing scam.
If you ever have questions about a message from Verizon, go to MyVerizon and under "I Want To" click "Check Verizon Announcements." If you do, you will find info on the message you received.

I also received this email. I tried once to hit sign in, and it didn't do anything. Hence my appearance here. I was trying to find out if anyone else got this. Since I haven't seen anything on Verizon's member services I agree, must be a scam. Thanks, people!
