I have the Fios cr1000a router. I ran it for a week, but had some dead spots, so tried out an ASUS router for a few days. I switched back to the Verizon hardware and only my computers and mobile devices will connect to the network. None of my other stuff - tvs, ring cameras, nest thermostats - will join the network. I did trouble shooting with tech support for 30 min, but no resolution, so I had to switch back to the ASUS gear (and when I did all devices were almost immediately working again). The names and passwords of the network didn’t change, and all my devices worked with the vrzn router before trying the ASUS. I only have one network, and I entered the password correctly on all devices, only to get a “can’t join network” message. The tech tried a number of things, but she was stumped. I’d prefer to use the vrzn equipment again. Any ideas? Thanks?

Did you tinker with wireless settings of the CR1000A?
If you have enabled WiFi 6E, the WPA3 will be applied and legacy wireless devices such as all smart home devices do not support WPA3 or have trouble falling back to WPA2.
